Non-fat Dried Milk Recall Information On June 23, 2009, Ryt-way was notified of a voluntary recall of instant non-fat dried milk produced by Plainview Milk Products Cooperative and repackaged and distributed by Ryt-way. Ryt-way, in support of recall efforts by Plainview and the FDA, immediately began facilitating the recall by notifying its customers of affected products and initial recall procedures. Food safety is of utmost importance to Ryt-way and the company continues to work in cooperation with its customers, Plainview, and the FDA to complete the recall process. Customers who have purchased agglomerated (“instant”) products from Ryt-way are urged to place a production hold on all agglomerated (“instant”) products you have in inventory. This recall is being coordinated through your distributor, please contact that distributor immediately as they will coordinate the recall for you.
